We need your help...current needs
The situations faced as we serve in China are very fluid. Sometimes needs can occur very quickly, and then sometimes we find needs are met very quickly too. This can be a wonderful process but at the same time we often find ourselves wondering how we are going to continue something, or what will happen next when faced by a particular need.
Morning Light Centre
A caring supporter last year offered to provide for the rent on our Morning Light Centre however as sometimes happens their circumstances have changed and they are no longer able to support this. We are urgently seeking a new sponsor for our rent.
Monthly rent on the centre is 3000RMBh; roughly equal to $AUD525, $US450 or 300GBP.
Thank you to one supporter who has paid for about 4 months rent... just 8 more to go...
Doves Wings
Doves Wings is our new foster home for babies with special needs. We're in the process of hiring more Ah Yi's (nannies) to care for the babies. We also need funding for medicines and even simple things like sunscreen for our Albino girl we hope to welcome soon.
A stock of quality sunscreen will cost approximately $AUD200.
Our babies are all allergic to regular milk formula, so we have had to change them onto soy milk powder. It has stopped the awful diarrhoea they were having, however the cost is at least 150RMB or $AUD25 per large tin and with 3 babies drinking it one tin wont last too long.
For each staff member we need approximately $AUD2,500 per year or $AUD210 per month
