Child Support

Often the needs seem insurmountable. There are just so many children orphanaed, abandoned and in need. The estimate is between 9 and 15 million orphans. An orphan may have one or both parents, but the child has ben abandoned or given up for various reasons. Child support changes lives, not only that of the child and their family, but perhaps yours too.

Many of the children we're serving are not the young babies and todlers but are well into their teens. Does this make their needs less? Absolutely not, in fact we know that as children grow older so their expenses grow too.

We believe in care for the long term. We're not an adoption agency but while ever a child is in need we will continue to serve and support them. If we can help keep a child in school for as long as posisble, by assisting the family in whatever way that requires, then the life of that child and their children will change significantly.

We are hoping to see sponsors and children build relationships. Many of our children are in very remote areas which makes visiting them often difficult. But we encourage sponsors to write letters, send cards or pictures and our team will deliver them to the children.

We're also serving in orphanages where we take teams of volunteers on behalf of partner organisations. In these instances we are often called uponm to assist the orphanage in various ways. Somtimes with medical care, play equipment & clothing.
